Kathryn Holt will discuss genomic surveillance for AMR from 09:30 - 10:30 CEST, Sodiomon Bienvenu Sirima will review the innovations regarding malaria from 11:00 - 12:00 CEST, and Mihai Gheorghe Netea will expore the role of trained innate immunity from 16:15 - 17:15 CEST. We hope you have time to see them all!

Join the first ever ESCMID Global Movie Session “Martini Shot: Infection in Action” taking place in the Moche Room from 16:15 - 18:30 CEST. We will be watching the iconic Outbreak film from 1995 which is followed by a riveting discussion with our distinguished experts. Grab a bag of popcorn and enjoy!

This year we have a brand-new Science Play Corner, which features multiple games submitted by members of the community that revolve around Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases.

The Scientific Escape Room will continue at ESCMID Global 2024! The scientific game will be available threefold this time so those who’ve missed it will be able to join it again! If you haven’t had a chance to test your knowledge and puzzle solving skills yet, be sure to stop by and book your timeslot to play. Remember you’ll need your group there to sign up and you can only sign up on the day you want to play.
