Clinical Grand Round

The ESCMID Global “Clinical Grand Round” is a very popular session co-organised with IDSA that pits the wits of six internationally renowned physicians against seven difficult clinical cases involving patients with infectious diseases. Join us in Hall A from 8:30 - 10:30 CEST.

 

Keynote Lecture: Per Ljungman

Join us for the final keynote by Per Ljungman, “Viral infections in stem cell transplantation: a lifetime journey”, taking place in Hall A from 11:00 - 12:00 CEST. This keynote will review the impact of viral infections in the immunocompromised host, the evolution of treatment and diagnostic innovation and how to address present and future challenges.

 

New requirements for IVDR

The European Union in vitro device regulation (IVDR) imposes new requirements for clinical diagnostic labs. In this Educational Session, experienced scientists and staff from clinical microbiology labs will share their knowledge in implementation of the IVDR. Join the session in Hall D from 13:30 - 15:30 CEST.

 

Final Poster Session: Categories 8, 9, 11, 12 and Late-breakers

Be sure to stop by the Poster Area from 12:00 - 13:30 CEST to catch the final poster session. Poster presenters will be giving presentations and discussing their research answering any questions you may have.

 

CME/CPD Certificates

Information regarding CME/CPD certificate claiming and attendance reporting is available on the ESCMID Global website. It is necessary to complete the congress evaluation in order to receive the CME certificate. Please note: you can only claim CME points once, so be sure to claim them all at the end.
