Pre-ECCMID days coming up soon!

Our Pre-ECCMID days are fast approaching and with it you can start your ECCMID 2024 experience. Similar to last year, these days target specific topics in CM and ID and are available for anyone with an active congress registration (hybrid or online only). You can find the schedule below and stay tuned to explore the official ECCMID 2024 online platform which goes live in the coming days.

Call for groups for ECCMID 2024 Selective Pressure

All ECCMID 2024 participants are welcome to attend this session for an interactive educational and entertaining experience. Groups of four persons can apply for participation. The moderator of the session is Prof. Jesús Rodriguez-Bano.


Deadline for creating groups is tomorrow, 31 January 2024.

You will learn how an antimicrobial stewardship programme (ASP) is designed and implemented in a specific setting, as well as discuss how to measure the impact of the interventions and understand the synergy between infection control and ASP.

AMR funding from the Joint Programming Initiative on Antimicrobial Resistance, JPIAMR

JPIAMR is launching an international call for projects under the umbrella of JPIAMR and within the framework of the ERA-NET JPIAMR-ACTION. The call for interventions to counteract the emergence/spread of bacterial and fungal resistance and to improve treatments will involve 21 funders from 19 countries. The total estimated call budget is over 17,7 million Euro.
