Pre-ECCMID Days coming next week!

The first set of Pre-ECCMID Days is scheduled for next week, and with it you can start your ECCMID 2024 experience. These days target specific topics in CM and ID and are available for anyone with an active congress registration (hybrid or online only). You can find the schedule below and explore the official ECCMID 2024 Online Platform which is live now.

Regular price tickets for ECCMID 2024 are now available

After receiving a record number of late-breaking abstracts and registrations with the Early Bird deadline, we expect ECCMID 2024 to be our biggest ever! Don't miss the chance to join the premier worldwide congress on CM & ID, regular tickets are now available until 13 March 2024.

There are also spots available for the workshop on 26 April 2024 on the use of data science and machine learning for infection science.

New Postgraduate Course 2024 on Sepsis & Immunocompromised Hosts

This course will give insights on the management of infections & sepsis in the immunecompromised host, covering challenges such as delayed diagnosis, atypical presentation, metabolic changes, adjuvant therapies, severe prognosis, and end-of-life decisions.

Update your knowledge on vaccine immunology, new vaccine candidates and platforms with this ESCMID education course!

This course will cover general aspects of vaccines and immunoprophylaxis against vaccine-preventable diseases and forthcoming vaccines. It will also explore immunological response in particular groups, including immunocompromised, pregnant and the elderly.

Grant applications for the EUCIC Infection Prevention and Control Certificate 2024-2026 are open!

We are pleased to announce that ESCMID will fully support 5 grantees residing in low- and lower-middle income countries (LMICs) for the EUCIC Infection Prevention and Control Certificate 2024-2026.

Applications will be accepted until 10 March 2024.

Spring call for 50 ESCMID funded Observerships will open in two months!

The new call for 50 funded Observerships will be open from 16 April to 15 May 2024. First visits of observers to ESCMID Collaborative Centres (ECCs) are envisioned to happen from summer/autumn 2024. Start to contact your target ECC and prepare for a valuable learning experience!
