Our SGs cover a vast range of themes, ensuring that there are no limits on the topics eligible for funding each year. With up to 30K EUR offered to cover project costs, ESCMID SG research grants can help you support the entirety or specific elements of your project.

Education

This dynamic course features eight sessions on cutting-edge topics, including precision antimicrobial treatment, combating resistance, and innovative sepsis classification. Learn to recognise sepsis early, explore new immunotherapies, and utilise biomarkers for accurate diagnostics. Enhance your skills in treating multidrug-resistant pathogens and designing impactful research. Join us to transform your approach to sepsis management and improve patient outcomes.

Registration is open until 1 September 2024.

Through a mix of lectures, clinical case presentations by experts in the field and interactive group discussions, this course will provide updated information on epidemiology and burden of infectious diseases in pregnancy and newborns as well as collaborative diagnostic and clinical pathways for the management of these infections. It will also cover pathogenesis of fetal and neonatal damages and pre- and postnatal counselling.
