The ESCMID awards season is coming soon

In celebration of excellence and innovation in Clinical Microbiology (CM) and Infectious Diseases (ID), ESCMID honours the contributions made by researchers, clinicians, and other trailblazers in these fields. Distinguished awardees have the opportunity to deliver lectures at ESCMID Global and may even join the esteemed ranks of ESCMID Fellows.

Join this onsite course in Bertinoro, Italy, from 22-26 September 2024

Through a mix of lectures, clinical case presentations by experts in the field and interactive group discussions, this course will provide updated information on epidemiology and burden of infectious diseases in pregnancy and newborns as well as collaborative diagnostic and clinical pathways for the management of these infections. It will also cover pathogenesis of fetal and neonatal damages and pre- and postnatal counselling.

New YouTube series coming: Towards ESCMID Global 2025

A new video series is coming to the ESCMID YouTube Channel at the end of this week. The ESCMID Global Programme Committee came together in Prague to work on the scientific programme for the upcoming ESCMID Global 2025 in Vienna. We sat down with a few members to get their impressions on the programme so far and what we can expect to see at next year’s event.
