The calls will be open from 1 August to 2 September 2024. There are numerous awards granted by ESCMID in celebration of excellence and innovation in CM & ID:

Ecraid Training Modules on Adaptive Clinical Trial Designs – new module coming tomorrow

The next module of the Adaptive Clinical Trial Designs course - Module 4: “Response adaptive randomisation and covariate -adjusted response adaptive randomisation designs” - will be available as of tomorrow, 31 July 2024. In this module, the speakers will introduce the theory behind response adaptive and covariate adjusted response adaptive randomisation designs and demonstrate the designs' benefits by presenting the case studies, end-TB and I-Spy 2 trials.

ESCMID Funded Observerships autumn call dates announced!

The call for 50 Funded Observerships will be open from 10 September to 16 October 2024. ESCMID Observerships provide participants with a fantastic opportunity to gain experience and exchange knowledge with colleagues across the fields of CM & ID. Choose and contact your target institution among 123 ESCMID Collaborative Centres, to get your endorsement letter stating purpose and dates of the Observership.

Oral abstract presentation award available for the conference

ESCMID is pleased to announce that MDPI and their open access journal antibiotics are sponsoring the best oral abstract presentation award. During the conference, the programme committee will follow and monitor all oral abstract presentations and decide on the winner of this award.

The award will be given during the closing session on the last conference day, 12:00 - 12:30 WEST on 20 September 2024. The awardee will be granted free registration to the next ESCMID conference.
