We are excited to unveil the ESCMID Mobile Lab which is a brand-new hands-on training experience that will be present at ESCMID Global 2025. Organised by Claire Rogers from the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, these 2-hour workshops will explore specific parasites and diseases under the microscope. Congress and Events

You don’t have to wait until April to participate in ESCMID Global. There are three online-only workshops that are planned to take place in March that will be live-streamed on the virtual congress platform and free for all ESCMID Global registrants. The sessions will explore hands-on lab work so that all attendees can really see the proper practices and what steps are needed to determine resistance profiles or interpret data.

We didn’t want you to miss out on all the action. Group sign-ups were extended until the end of the month for the 2025 edition of “Selective Pressure”, the ESCMID Global quiz show. Compete in teams of four to answer trivia questions on CM and ID topics in a head-to-head style competition.

The deadline for team sign-ups is now 28 February 2025 but don’t wait until the last minute get your team together today.

TAE Day is organised every year at ESCMID Global by the Trainee Association of ESCMID (TAE). This year, TAE Day offers an even more dynamic and engaging experience with a refreshed format. Dedicated morning and afternoon sessions bring back the round table discussions as in previous years but now with a networking lunch there are more ways to connect and network. ESCMID has re-opened the call for new members for the Scientific Affairs Subcommittee. We are currently looking for two new members to join the subcommittee to take over the themes of “Clinics & Therapeutics” and “Diagnostics”. These members should have an extensive background with proven expertise in the designated theme. Interested and qualified individuals are asked to apply by 14 March 2025 to assume the position after ESCMID Global 2025.
