ESCMID’s perspective on US policy changes
|
ESCMID strongly believes in the importance of unbiased scientific research and full, open and honest discussions amongst the global community. The recent political decisions made in the US have had reverberating consequences across the world already. As physicians and researchers, collaboration is key to success in medicine and science.
The ESCMID Executive Committee and medical editors have both released independent commentaries regarding the current state of affairs in the US. Both statements are also calling to action those responsible and the global infectious disease and clinical microbiology community to amplify their voices. These commentaries have been published jointly in CMI and CMI Communications and you can read both articles now.
