Education

The landscape of treating drug-resistant tuberculosis (TB) is evolving rapidly with new drugs and regimens. However, the diagnostic pipeline is struggling to keep pace. The World Health Organization (WHO) has recently endorsed targeted Next Generation Sequencing (tNGS) as a molecular tool for obtaining rapid genotypic data to guide clinical management. Understanding its potential and limitations is crucial for effective implementation.

Are you an early-career investigator looking to sharpen your skills in the infectious diseases or clinical microbiology field? Then join the postgraduate course on “Better methods for clinical studies in infectious diseases and clinical microbiology”! Participants will gain knowledge on how to phrase a research question, choose the appropriate design and methods to address it, avoid biases, and write an optimal report.
