We are looking for 4 to 8 candidates who are interested in the topic of vaccines to form the first ESCMID Vaccines Subcommittee which will help our Society on strategic matters related to vaccines. Interested persons can apply until 10 December 2025.

This interactive, onsite programme is tailored for healthcare professionals with experience in infection prevention and control – providing a comprehensive update on the evolving challenges of multidrug-resistant organisms (MDROs).

This course is part of the ESCMID EUCIC Certificate Programme and has a few spots available for extra participants.

The ESCMID Global Art Gallery is back again in 2026, this year with the theme of “Food Safety”. The call for artwork is opening next week on 1 December and will run until the end of the year. Submit your original artwork to be presented in the annual art book published online and for a chance to win great prizes.

The journal is excited to announce a new collaboration with Global Antibiotic Research & Development Partnership (GARDP). Together, they will co-publish invited commentaries related to antimicrobial resistance (AMR) after editorial and peer review. The first article of this collaboration is out now!

The draft for the 2026 IDSA/ESCMID clinical practice guidelines on S. aureus bacteremia is now available for public consultation. Get your copy of the manuscript and submit your feedback before 15 December.
